Stephen Michael Gluhanich, age 65, of Supply, N.C., formerly of Bridgeport, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at home. Born February 28, 1940 in the Bronx, N.Y., he was a son of Marcella A. Repotski Gluhanich of Bridgeport and the late Stephen Gluhanich. Mr. Gluhanich was employed at SNET for 25 years until his retirement in 1995. He served in the U.S. Army and was a lifetime member and former financial secretary of the Pequonnock Yacht Club in Bridgeport. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Delores Holden Gluhanich of Supply; two sons, Mark Gluhanich of Milford and Ronnie Holden of Supply; five daughters, Sharon Buckley of Ronkonkoma, N.Y., Jean Gardino of Milford, Michele Shingleton of Burlington and Kelley Robinson and Sheila Holden of Supply; two brothers, Gerald Gluhanich of Milford and Michael Gluhanich of Muskegon, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held January 6, 2006 in the chapel of Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service & Crematory, Supply. Memorial donations may be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 117 Village Road, Suite E, Leland, NC 28451. A memorial service for Connecticut friends and family will be held on April 29, 2006 at noon in Our Lady of Grace Church, Second Hill Lane, Stratford, with a reception to follow.
