Robert James Delvy, age 65, of Derby, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, January 2, 2010 in the Griffin Hospital Derby. He is the devoted husband of Monica Scavotto Delvy. Bob was born in Bridgeport May 11, 1944 son of the late James E. and Elizabeth Kish Delvy and has been a Derby resident for more than 21 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bob was employed as a maintenance manager at Parallax Power Components in Bridgeport until his retirement. Bob along with his wife and two daughters enjoyed participating in competitive roller-skating for many years. He was the beloved father of Roberta and Rachel Delvy; the loving brother of James E. DelVecchio, and twins, Donald J. and Ronald J. Delvy. Bob also leaves his mother-in-law, Jacqueline Scavotto; a niece and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Judes Church, Derby.
