Margaret L. (Wust) Iannotti,
(Peg), age 64, of Naugatuck, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse,
passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2006 at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by her family and
friends. Born in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Ciaurro) Wust, she had been a
Bridgeport resident for most of her life prior to moving to Naugatuck 17 years ago. Margaret graduated
from Warren Harding High School and received her LPN Degree from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing.
Her nursing career included positions at Park City Hospital and Bridgeport Hospital. Following her nursing
career, she served as officer manager for Cardiology Associates of Bridgeport. Peg loved time spent with
her family and friends and helping others. She enjoyed traveling, ballroom dancing, golf, bowling, reading
and sewing. She loved music of all sorts and enjoyed playing the piano and often volunteered playing piano
for local senior centers in the Waterbury area and also volunteered as a reading mentor at the Andrew Avenue
School in Naugatuck. Survivors include her much loved and deeply devoted fiance
William Capardino of
Naugatuck; her loving daughter, Dorothy Collins-Doria and her husband, Nick, of Thomaston; a beloved sister,
Dee Wust Forman and her husband, Don, of Fairfield; two cherished grandsons, Sean Michael Collins and
James Edward Collins; her dearest nephew, Lee Charles Snyder of Lindenhurst, N.Y.; cousins, Nick and
Vicky Caracciolo, Terri LoRusso, Marcia King and Michael Ciaurro; an aunt, Irene Ciaurro; and dear
friends, Emma and Jim Reinwald, Edna and Bob Crego, Frank and Sandy Mossman and Michael Collins. A
funeral service will be held Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the United Congregational Church,
corner of State Street and Park Avenue, Bridgeport with the Rev. Dr. Don Studer officiating. Interment
will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Spear-Miller Funeral
Home 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. If desired, contributions in memory of Mrs. Iannotti may be made to
