Peggy A. Stirk Drotos, age 63, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late George Drotos, died peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on January 1, 1947, she was a daughter of William Stirk of Florida and the late Margaret Soltis Stirk and was an employee of Teamsters Local 677, Waterbury. A graduate of Warren Harding High School, she was a proud member of the PAL Cadet Drum Corp. She was a fun loving, caring person who could always enjoy a good laugh and make others smile. Most of all she was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed. In addition to her father, survivors include two loving children, a daughter, Jennifer Crawford and her husband Michael; and a son, William Drotos and his wife Adrienne, all of Shelton; four cherished grandchildren, Emma, Joshua, Cameron and Avery, three sisters, Patricia Sansone of Florida, Cathy Richards and her husband Tod of New York and Robin Paul and her husband Don of Naugatuck, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. directly in Huntington Congregational Church, 19 Church Street, Shelton. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
