Paulette Lorusso Stampoulis, age 61, a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, died on Monday, October 1, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport on October 1, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Dominick (Richie) and Pauline Salvatore Lorusso. A 1964 graduate of Harding High School, she was a former employee of the Jewish Home for the Elderly and Mechanics and Farmers Saving Bank. Survivors include her husband, Athanasios Stampoulis; a daughter, Evangelia Stampoulis of Bridgeport; a sister, Carmella Rita Lorusso of Stratford; an aunt, Sophie Carson of Ledyard; her special granddaughter, Crystal Klicin; cousins, Anne Matarazzo of California, Gloria Care of Waterford, and Gary Lorusso of Norwalk; as well as several additional cousins; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial.
