Lilian E. Plasic

Lilian E. Plasic of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 10, 2007. She was the devoted daughter of the late Grace and Alfred Plasic and a niece of the former Bridgeport Fire Chief and Mrs. Martin Hayden. Lilian graduated from Russell Sage College and received her masters from the University of Bridgeport. She was a retired teacher from Harding High School, her alma mater. Lilian was a lifelong parishioner at St. Charles Church, a life member of the Retired Teachers of Connecticut, and a member the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Russell Sage Alumni Association. She was grateful for her wonderful neighbors, Bern and Joanne, and Betsy and Eddie; as well as her compassionate caretakers, Donna, Karen, Barbara, Celia, Eva and Laurel who helped her spend her years in her home. She is survived by her goddaughter, Pamela Howard; several cousins including her special cousin, Carol Ketcham of Vermont; and many dear friends. At her request, there will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
