Lilian E. Plasic of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, November 10, 2007. She was the devoted daughter of the late Grace and Alfred Plasic and a niece of the former Bridgeport Fire Chief and Mrs. Martin Hayden. Lilian graduated from Russell Sage College and received her masters from the University of Bridgeport. She was a retired teacher from Harding High School, her alma mater. Lilian was a lifelong parishioner at St. Charles Church, a life member of the Retired Teachers of Connecticut, and a member the Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Russell Sage Alumni Association. She was grateful for her wonderful neighbors, Bern and Joanne, and Betsy and Eddie; as well as her compassionate caretakers, Donna, Karen, Barbara, Celia, Eva and Laurel who helped her spend her years in her home. She is survived by her goddaughter, Pamela Howard; several cousins including her special cousin, Carol Ketcham of Vermont; and many dear friends. At her request, there will be no calling hours.
