Gerald D. Walsh, age 66 of Stratford, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 in
his home with his loving wife and devoted daughter by his side. He was born in
Bridgeport, son of the late Raymond and Marguerite Scheck Walsh. He was a
funeral director and manager for the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Homes for more
than 45 years. Mr. Walsh was an usher and active member of St. Mark's Parish. He
was a past grand knight and current financial secretary for St. James Council
2370 Knights of Columbus in Stratford. A faithful comptroller of the Rite
Reverend John H. Anderson Assembly (K of C), and a member of the men's league
and the Stratford Old Timers. He also ran the Monday night K of C bingo for many
years. He was also a member of National Funeral Directors Association and CT
Funeral Directors Association. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He was
predeceased by his son, Donald G. Walsh and his sister, Honey Walsh. He is
survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Paray Walsh, and his devoted daughter,
Doreen Walsh, both of Stratford and several nieces, nephews, cousins and good
friends.
