William A. Zrallack, age 59, a lifelong Bridgeport, resident died on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Edna Balinski Zrallack. Mr. Zrallack worked overhaul and repair, and on Presidential Helicopters at Sikorsky Aircraft for 40 years. He was a U.S. Naval veteran serving during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Okinawa during five major campaigns. He loved fishing and the outdoors. Survivors in addition to his wife, include his sister, Loretta Laput and her husband, Joseph, of Stratford; sister-in-law, Irene Barnes and her husband, Bob, of Rockport, Texas; nephew, Commander Gregory Laput, U.S. Navy and his wife, Ashley, of Hanover, Md.; great-niece, Michaela Laput; great-nephews, Max Laput and Vaughn Cabral; longtime friend, Eddie Torres; and his dog and companion, Paper Rain. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with full military honors will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
