Anthony John Wuchek Sr., age 57, of Little Fawn Drive, Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, September 24, 2006 at Griffin Hospital in Derby. He was the beloved husband of Alice Wright Wuchek. Mr. Wuchek was born in Bridgeport, on January 26, 1949, son of the lat John and Eleanor Correia Wuchek, and lived in Bridgeport and Stratford before moving to Shelton 30 years ago. He served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, and worked for many years in the warehouse for Stihl Corp. in Shelton. He was an avid bowler, and played in the Barnum Duckpin League, and also played for several area softball teams. He was the beloved father of Anthony John Wuchek, Jr., and Ed Wuchek and his wife, Nicolle. He is also survived by an uncle, Jack Correia and his wife, Bonnie; a sister-in-law, Lesia Wuchek; a niece, Julie Wuchek and her fiancé, Vincent Melissano; and a nephew, Michael Wuchek and his wife, Stacy, and their daughter Shelby. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Michael Wuchek.
